“Transport and logistics issues were discussed today. Azerbaijan is fulfilling its responsibilities in the transport sector and is modernizing its transport infrastructure,” said Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov during a joint press conference with Kaja Kallas, the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice President of the European Commission, APA reports.
The minister highlighted efforts to increase the capacity of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway line and ongoing work related to the Port of Baku over the past year. He also pointed out the potential of the Alat Free Economic Zone.
