On May 29, 2025, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, met with the State Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar, Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al-Khulaifi, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs told APA.
During the meeting, the prospects of Azerbaijan-Qatar cooperation, bilateral and multilateral agenda issues, as well as the current situation in the region during the post-conflict period, were discussed.
Satisfaction was expressed with the level of cooperation between the two countries, and the importance of utilizing the existing potential for further development of relations was emphasized.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov spoke about the challenges and obstacles facing the regional peacebuilding process and drew attention to the fact that territorial claims against Azerbaijan still continue in the Armenian constitution and several legislative acts.
The meeting also included an exchange of views on other matters of mutual interest.
