We discussed economic cooperation between the two countries, said Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov at a joint press conference with Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsakhna, APA reports.
The minister said that in 2025, there is a positive dynamics in trade turnover compared to last year: "But the overall figures do not satisfy our countries, there is greater potential. In 8 months of this year, our trade turnover amounted to only 25 million US dollars. More than 60 Estonian companies are registered in Azerbaijan, 42 of them operate. There are areas with great potential between our countries."
The Foreign Minister noted that in 2024-2025, 373 Azerbaijani citizens will receive higher education in Estonia.
