The Azerbaijani delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister Shahin Mustafayev participated in the "KazanForum2025" Kazan International Economic Forum held in the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan, APA’s Russia bureau reports.
Shahin Mustafayev attended the forum’s plenary session. The session included leaders such as National Leader of the Turkmen People, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhammedov, Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, and Uzbek Deputy Prime Minister Jamshid Khodjaev.
“Digitalization. New Reality” was the main topic of the plenary session. Azerbaijan’s Deputy Prime Minister responded to a moderator’s question about the level of digitalization in Azerbaijan. He noted that digitalization is rapidly developing in the country. Mr. Mustafayev informed forum participants about state services being digitalized in Azerbaijan and stressed that this process represents not only technological renewal but also economic diversification, transparency, and efficiency in governance.
During the forum, Deputy Prime Minister Mustafayev held several bilateral meetings, including talks with Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Overchuk, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, and Uzbek Deputy Prime Minister Jamshid Khodjaev. The parties discussed the current state of bilateral relations.
The Azerbaijani delegation also attended the "Russia Halal Expo" exhibition within the forum, where they visited the "Made in Azerbaijan" stand featuring the "Istisu" brand from Kalbajar and other Azerbaijani products.
