On the sidelines of his working visit to New York city, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov met with Wang Yi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China, MFA said on X account, APA reports.
The Ministers discussed the current state and future prospects of Azerbaijan-China comprehensive strategic partnership, highlighting the dynamic political dialogue and expanding cooperation across trade, transport, energy, green development, digital transformation, agriculture, education and humanitarian spheres.
Ministers also exchanged views on regional and international developments, as well as cooperation within multilateral platforms. Particular emphasis was placed on cooperation within the UN, CICA and other multilateral platforms.
Ministers reaffirmed shared commitment to the comprehensive partnership between Azerbaijan and China for the mutual benefit of both nations.
