Head of the Mission of the Republic of Azerbaijan to NATO, Jafar Huseynzade, met with the US Ambassador to NATO, Matthew Whitaker, APA reports.
“Today, I met with Ambassador Jafar Huseynzada, head of Azerbaijan’s Mission to NATO. We discussed the historic peace deal brokered by President Donald J. Trump, which ended 35 years of conflict. Peace saves lives and unlocks prosperity at home and abroad,” Matthew Whitaker said in an X post.
Regarding the meeting, Jafar Huseynzade stated in a social media post that he discussed the Azerbaijan-NATO partnership within the framework of the Partnership for Peace (PfP) program, as well as future partnership prospects, with the US ambassador.
“We highly value the role of the US and the US President in promoting peace and stability in the region and beyond,” Jafar Huseynzade emphasized.
