The "Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the United States of America on the Establishment of a Strategic Working Group to Develop a Charter on Strategic Partnership between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the United States of America" to be signed during the visit is a clear proof of this.
The Azerbaijan-US strategic partnership will cover the following three areas:
- Regional connectivity, including energy, trade and transit;
- Economic investment, including artificial intelligence and digital infrastructure;
- Security cooperation, including defense sales and cooperation in the fight against terrorism.
The Strategic Working Group to be established will deal with important issues such as expanding regional connectivity infrastructure and investments in the energy sector, as well as promoting regional economic and trade cooperation, as well as the development of artificial intelligence.
The US-Azerbaijan strategic partnership means the arrival of US technology and investment in our country and US economic activity.
