Azerbaijan and Tajikistan Foreign Ministries hold next consular consultations

The next consular consultations were held between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan in Baku on April 2, the Azerbaijan MFA told APA.

The Azerbaijani delegation was led by Head of the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Emil Safarov, while the Tajik delegation was headed by Chief of the Main Consular Department Bakhodur Safarzoda.

Ambassador of Tajikistan to Azerbaijan Ilkhom Abdurakhmon, as well as officials from the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Science and Education, and the Sustainable and Operational Social Security (DOST) Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population of Azerbaijan, also attended the meeting.

During the consultations, an exchange of views was held on the current state and prospects of cooperation in the consular sphere between the two countries.

Issues of cooperation in justice, education, labor, social protection, and other important areas between the two countries were reviewed.

At the end of the talks, the heads of the delegations of the two countries signed the protocol of the meeting.

Within the framework of the consultations, Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Fariz Rzayev received the delegation of the Republic of Tajikistan.
