During his visit to Saudi Arabia, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov met with Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mohammad Ishaq Dar, says official X account of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, APA reports.
During the meeting, the foreign ministers discussed the bilateral agenda between the two countries as well as the evolving regional security environment.
The sides exchanged views on recent regional developments and emphasized the importance of de-escalation, respect for international law, and joint efforts to ensure peace and stability.
The parties reaffirmed the strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Pakistan, highlighting mutual trust, solidarity, and continued support on issues of key national interest.
The ministers also discussed prospects for expanding cooperation in political, economic, and related fields, underlining the importance of close coordination within regional and international platforms.
