Azerbaijan and Iran foreign ministers discuss regional security issues

A phone conversation took place on June 4 between Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov and Iran’s Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs told APA.

During the phone call, the sides discussed the current state of Azerbaijan-Iran bilateral relations and prospects for cooperation, as well as the situation in the region and security issues.

Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi provided detailed information on the negotiation process surrounding Iran and the latest developments. Minister Jeyhun Bayramov emphasized the importance of diplomatic efforts in maintaining regional stability.

The parties also discussed other issues and recent developments on the bilateral and regional agenda.
