On September 8, 2025, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, received Mohamed Ali Hassan, the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Djibouti, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs told APA.
During the meeting, prospects for bilateral cooperation between Azerbaijan and Djibouti, as well as partnership issues in multilateral formats, were discussed.
It was emphasized that there are broad prospects for cooperation in areas such as the economy, trade, humanitarian issues, education, and others.
During the meeting, an exchange of views was also held on other issues of mutual interest.
On the same day, political consultations were also held between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan and Djibouti. The political consultations were led by Azerbaijan’s Deputy Foreign Minister Yalchin Rafiyev and Djibouti’s Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mohamed Ali Hassan.
