An agreement on mutual visa exemption for holders of ordinary passports has been signed between Azerbaijan and Colombia, APA reports.
The Colombian Embassy in Azerbaijan announced this.
It was noted that the agreement was signed by Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and his Colombian counterpart Omar Bula during a meeting held on the sidelines of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly.
“This agreement will contribute to further strengthening ties between our peoples and creating new opportunities for the development of exchanges in various fields,” the embassy said in a statement.
It was added that the agreement will enter into force after the mutual exchange of passport specimens and relevant notes verbales.
