Azerbaijan and Bahrain Foreign Ministers hold phone conversation

A phone conversation took place between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, Azerbaijan MFA told APA.

During the phone call, the bilateral and multilateral cooperation agenda between the two countries, as well as regional and international security issues was discussed.

The ministers warmly congratulated each other on the upcoming Novruz and Ramadan holidays and conveyed their best wishes.

The current status and prospects of Azerbaijan-Bahrain cooperation in various fields, including economic, trade, energy security, and cultural areas, as well as opportunities for cooperation within regional and international organizations such as the UN and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, were discussed.

Azerbaijan's active participation in Bahrain's "Manama Dialogue" initiative, as well as the significance of this platform in terms of discussing security issues, was specifically emphasized.

The sides also discussed other matters of mutual interest.
