Azerbaijan and Armenia have agreed on returning 4 villages of Gazakh district, it was agreed at the eighth meeting of the State Commission on the Delimitation of the State Border between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Armenia and the Commission on the Delimitation of the State Border and Border Security between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan that was held on the border between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Armenia under the chairmanship of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Shahin Mustafayev and the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Mher Grigoryan, APA reports.

"In the initial stage of the delimitation process, the Parties have agreed to directly pass between the settlement areas of Baghanis (ER) - Baghanis Divide (AR), Voskepar (ER) - Lower Eskipara (AR), Kirants (ER) - Heyrimli (AR), and Berkaber (ER) - Qizilhajili (AR) along the inter-republican border, based on the legal aspect of the existence of its Soviet Union period.

It has been decided that the depiction coordinates of these sections of the border line shall be prepared based on the ground geodetic measurements, and this should be documented and agreed upon between the Parties by means of the respective Protocol-depictions to be drawn up and signed by May 15, 2024," was added.
