Evacuation from Iran via the Astara state border checkpoint continues, APA’s southern bureau reports.
Austria’s ambassador to Iran, Friedrich Stift, and embassy staff have been safely evacuated through the Astara state border checkpoint.
In a statement to the media, the ambassador said that a team of five people had been evacuated and expressed gratitude to the Azerbaijani side for this assistance. He noted that they were received very warmly at the border.
The evacuation process is being carried out in stages in accordance with special security rules.
