A telephone conversation was held between Hikmat Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Head of Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration, and the Deputy Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, APA reports.
During the call, Hikmat Hajiyev conveyed Azerbaijan’s condolences to Iran over the casualties during the recent events.
The importance of accelerating the implementation of agreements reached between the two countries’ Presidents was also emphasized.
