Armenia's not against unhindered connection between Nakhchivan and western part of Azerbaijan - PM Pashinyan

"Armenia is not against an unhindered railway connection between Nakhchivan and the western part of Azerbaijan," Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at a press conference, APA reports.

“We are not against unhindered passage, but this does not mean bypassing Armenia's jurisdiction,” the Prime Minister noted.

According to him, the modern world is constantly working to ensure unhindered movement in all directions.

“We are ready for these decisions,” Pashinyan added.

He recalled that Yerevan has sent its proposals to Azerbaijan and is waiting for a response.

“What they (Baku) will call it (on solving communications), what we will call it, this is another topic. Whatever the decision is, we will call it by our own name, and they will call it by their own name. What is important is the essence of the issue,” Pashinyan stressed.
