Within the framework of the “Peace Bridge” initiative, Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia Armen Qriqoryan met with representatives of civil society from Armenia and Azerbaijan, APA reports.
The Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia welcomed the visit of Azerbaijani civil society representatives to Armenia, emphasizing that bilateral contacts in this format play an important role in strengthening mutual trust and developing good-neighborly relations.
Armen Grigoryan presented the progress of the peace process, touched upon the economic opportunities that may arise from the opening of regional communications, and addressed the current dynamics of Armenia–Azerbaijan relations.
In the second part of the meeting, the Secretary of the Security Council answered the participants’ questions.
