Armenian PM calls for restoration of Soviet-era borders

The border delimitation process between Azerbaijan and Armenia will continue, and the borders that existed during the Soviet era must be restored, said Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during an online press conference, APA reports.

“There are territories that belong to us but are under Azerbaijan’s control. Likewise, there are territories that belong to Azerbaijan but are under our control. The delimitation process must continue. The territory of independent Armenia is the same as the territory of Armenia during the Soviet period. At the same time, the territory of independent Azerbaijan also corresponds to that of Soviet-era Azerbaijan,” Pashinyan noted.
