Ambassador: Turkish companies eagerly participating in Garabagh's construction today

Our current close relationships create great confidence for the future, said the Ambassador of Türkiye to Azerbaijan, Birol Akgun, at a roundtable discussion on the topic "5 Years of the Memorandum of Understanding on Strategic Cooperation in the Media Space: Review of Joint Activities, Future Goals", APA reports.

“Our brotherhood and cooperation are of exceptional nature. During the Garabagh war, we provided moral support to our Azerbaijani brothers. In the February 6 earthquake, Azerbaijan extended a helping hand to us. The "Azerbaijan Neighborhood" being built in Kahramanmaraş is a symbol of Turkish-Azerbaijani brotherhood. We will always be by Azerbaijan's side, and as Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said, nothing will undermine this brotherhood,” the ambassador stated.

According to him, a number of companies operating in Türkiye are eagerly participating in the reconstruction of Garabagh and are investing large sums in the projects there.

“We thank you for the support shown in the creation of such a media platform between our countries. During the 44-day Patriotic War, we followed the news of the liberation of villages, towns, and cities with the same excitement as in Azerbaijan. I believe that we witnessed how significant information warfare was in the international arena during the Garabagh war. Each of us is working for developing mutual relations. In this regard, what we expect from the media is to be extremely careful when spreading news about both countries,” Birol Akgün added.
