"This year has been very successful for Azerbaijani-Chinese relations," Chinese Ambassador to Azerbaijan Lu Mei said in his speech at the ceremony dedicated to the 76th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, APA reports.
"We are glad that this year has been a truly fruitful year for Chinese-Azerbaijani relations. President Ilham Aliyev visited China twice this year, and our heads of state signed a joint statement on the establishment of a comprehensive strategic partnership, and also reached many important agreements to deepen cooperation in various fields. These areas include the digital economy, green energy, tourism and many others," the Chinese ambassador noted.
