"Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Bochorishvili making her his first official visit to Baku at the beginning of the year is important," Georgian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Azerbaijan Zurab Pataradze said, APA's Tbilisi correspondent reports.
According to him, these meetings will contribute to the development and strengthening of relations between the countries.
"Azerbaijan is a strategic partner and friendly country for Georgia. Relations between our countries are developing dynamically. It is important that the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia Mrs. Maka Bochorishvili made her first official visit to Baku at the beginning of the year. A number of meetings are planned. The entire spectrum of bilateral relations, including political, trade-economic, cultural and humanitarian issues, will be discussed. I believe that these meetings will help stimulate and strengthen relations between the countries and, of course, raise them to a new stage," the ambassador said.
