The relevant authorities of Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan are taking joint necessary measures to investigate the cause of the plane crash and provide initial assistance, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Azerbaijan, Alim Bayel said, APA reports.

The Ambassador emphasized that true friends are recognized in times of hardship: "Therefore, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan share both joy and sorrow together. Following the instructions of Presidents Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Ilham Aliyev, the relevant authorities of both countries are jointly taking necessary measures to investigate the cause of the plane crash and provide initial assistance."

The diplomat emphasized that the brotherly countries are demonstrating a high level of solidarity and mutual assistance: "State structures are coordinating the processes harmoniously, rescuers, medical, and transportation workers have been performing their duties promptly, and many Kazakh citizens, who did not remain indifferent, donated blood and placed flower bouquets in front of Azerbaijan's diplomatic missions in Aktau and Astana."
