Mutual support between China and Azerbaijan has further strengthened, said Chinese Ambassador to Azerbaijan Lu Mei at today's briefing, APA reports.
According to her, the potential for pragmatic cooperation between the countries has further increased, and the growth rate of bilateral trade remains impressive.
Recalling that Azerbaijan opposes Taiwan's independence, the diplomat noted that China is Azerbaijan's fourth-largest trading partner.
The ambassador recalled that Azerbaijan is one of the first countries to join China's "One Belt, One Road" initiative.
