Japanese companies are currently conducting assessments in the energy sector within the framework of projects being implemented in Karabakh and surrounding districts, Japanese Ambassador Katsuya Watanabe said in a response to APA's question.
According to the ambassador, Japanese companies are particularly interested in cooperating in the restoration of infrastructure, the establishment of industrial facilities, and the implementation of innovative technologies in Karabakh and nearby districts.
The diplomat noted that the region has significant economic potential and, with proper planning, these territories could become centers of development in a short period of time.
