"The EU and Germany have been actively participating in the Azerbaijan-Armenia peace process for the past two years," German Ambassador to Azerbaijan Ralf Horlemann said in his speech at an event held on the occasion of German Unity Day, APA reports.
"I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the Azerbaijani government and people on the remarkable progress made in the peace process with Armenia. With the initialing of the peace agreement in August, peace is finally within reach. The European Union and Germany have been actively involved in this process for the past two years, and we stand ready to continue to support it in a way that is mutually beneficial," the ambassador said in his speech.
