Azerbaijan-Türkiye relations have reached a perfect level, Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Birol Akgün told journalists, APA reports.
“Today, on the occasion of the 103rd anniversary of the birth of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, we, as the Turkish Embassy, visited his grave together with our entire staff. We always remember with great respect his role in the creation of the Azerbaijani national state and his efforts to defend the independence and territories of this nation during the difficult times of the 1990s. The Great Leader’s slogan ‘One nation, two states’ remains a principle that we continue to use in the context of Azerbaijan-Türkiye relations, which have reached a perfect level today,” the ambassador noted.
