Azerbaijan-Türkiye relations are deepening in all areas, said Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Birol Akgün at the “Invision Design Talks 2” forum, APA-Economics reports.
He stated that cooperation between Azerbaijan and Türkiye in the political, economic, cultural, and energy spheres is expanding steadily.
The ambassador noted that after the 44-day Patriotic War in 2020 and the liberation of Karabakh from occupation, relations between the two countries entered a new stage.
According to him, with the signing of the Shusha Declaration in 2021, Azerbaijan and Türkiye gained the status of strategic allies.
Birol Akgün emphasized that the cooperation shaped by the leadership of the two brotherly countries has also become an example for the Turkic world.
The diplomat noted that the 13th World Urban Forum to be held in Baku and COP31 to be organized in the Turkish city of Antalya will create additional opportunities for expanding international cooperation.
The ambassador added that the Turkic world is currently experiencing a new stage of rise, and that science, art, culture, and aesthetics hold special importance in this process: “While shaping a common vision for the future, this approach should also be reflected in urban development and architecture.”
