Albanian President: We need world where conflicts are resolved

Conflicts are ongoing in various regions of the world, said the President of the Republic of Albania, Bajram Begaj, at the opening ceremony of the XII Global Baku Forum themed "Rethinking World Order: Turning Challenges into Opportunities," held under the patronage of the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, and organized by the Nizami Ganjavi International Center, APA reports.

The President of Albania said that the world is not only facing a political crisis, but economic recession is also being observed: "We are living in an era where power is trying to replace justice, and societies are collapsing. Challenges are a test for the new world order and undermine security. We must achieve the restoration of peace. We must work to protect borders and security. Transnational crime and other threats require our cooperation. We must remain faithful to our values. We need a world where conflicts are resolved and the economy is sustainable."
