"In Albania, people are very familiar with the South Caucasus region and the now-resolved Karabakh conflict that persisted here for so long", said Albanian political analyst Dorian Koçi, a participant of the 7th ADA Political Forum in Baku, APA reports.
He emphasized that Azerbaijan's resolution of this conflict will further strengthen peace and security in the region: "A diplomatic approach and diplomacy in general will facilitate the path to peace in the region. Azerbaijan resolved the Karabakh conflict through its own efforts. We in Albania are very familiar with this conflict. Territories occupied for over 30 years have been liberated, and now the goal is to further consolidate peace and eliminate disagreements between the two peoples of the region. Recently, we visited Karabakh and held productive discussions at Karabakh University in Khankendi about global conflicts and how to establish peace worldwide. The university's rapid resumption of operations in Khankendi signals Azerbaijan's bright future."
Koçi also shared his thoughts about the 7th ADA Political Forum: "This is my second time participating in a forum organized by ADA University. Participants discussed EU-China relations and global-regional issues. This prestigious event serves as an excellent platform for addressing current challenges. The solution to global problems lies in dialogue and hearing the voices of those affected by conflicts. Such an approach not only resolves conflicts but can also prevent potential clashes of interests. That's precisely the purpose of this high-level forum, which brings together political analysts and distinguished figures. This same approach should be applied to interstate relations as well."
