On June 30, a mine incident occurred in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan, resulting in a police officer in Aghdam being seriously injured. The injured officer's right leg was amputated due to the mine explosion, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement, APA reports.
Since the end of the 2020 Patriotic War, the total number of Azerbaijani mine victims has reached 399.
The statement also noted, "Armenia's continued refusal to provide complete and accurate maps of mined areas poses a serious threat to civilians and all people living in these territories. The international community must not remain silent in the face of ongoing violations of humanitarian law."
