A part of the equipment produced by French companies for unmanned aerial vehicles and technology in Ukraine is being allocated to Armenia, a diplomatic source in the West told APA.
According to the source, 30% of the production is intended for Armenia.
The source specifically noted that the first shipments had already been sent.
It is noted that since the summer of this year, three French defense industry companies have started cooperating in the production of components for unmanned aerial vehicles and various technologies, including armored vehicle parts.
Although the project, which is directly supervised by the French Ministry of Defense, was announced as supporting Ukraine in the conflict with Russia, later the provision of weapons to Armenia was also started.
The companies involved in the project include the tank manufacturer KNDS, a holding structure created by the French company Nexter, and the German company Krauss-Maffei-Wegmann.
