A joint delegation of 15 representatives from Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan working in the field of innovation has visited Israel, the Israeli Embassy in Azerbaijan said, APA reports.
The purpose of the visit is to familiarize participants with Israel’s ecosystem in innovation, academia, industry, entrepreneurship and technology centers, startups, cybersecurity, digital transformation, innovation hubs, water technologies, and other advanced technological fields.
As part of the program, the delegation is expected to hold professional meetings with Israeli partners representing the public sector, private sector, academia, and innovation spheres, while also gaining closer insight into Israeli society. In addition, the delegation will participate in the MUNI EXPO (Municipalities and Innovation Exhibition), attend briefings organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and visit southern regions of Israel and communities located along the Gaza border.
“The Israeli embassies in Baku and Astana believe that this delegation will serve as an important platform for strengthening professional dialogue between Israel, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, and will create opportunities for future cooperation in innovation, technology and applied solutions,” the embassy noted.
