1,249 people evacuated from Iran through Azerbaijan border so far-PHOTO-UPDATED-1

From 08:00 on February 28 to 18:00 on March 4, a total of 1,249 people have been evacuated from the Iran to Azerbaijan, APA reports.

256 of those evacuated are citizens of Azerbaijan.

In addition, foreign citizens evacuated include 400 from China, 249 from Russia, 105 from Tajikistan, 80 from Pakistan, 46 from Oman, 18 from Saudi Arabia, 9 from Georgia, 7 from Belarus, 6 from the United Arab Emirates, 6 from Slovakia, 5 from Serbia, 4 from Iran, 4 from Jordan, 4 from Switzerland, 4 from Nigeria, 4 from Japan, 3 from Qatar, 3 from Bangladesh, 3 from Uzbekistan, 3 from Mexico, 3 from Philippines, 3 from Kazakhstan, and 3 from France.

Additionally, 2 citizens each from Nepal, Turkey, Yemen, Kyrgyzstan, and Italy were evacuated.

At the same time, one foreign citizen each from Poland, Tunisia, Lebanon, India, Brazil, Myanmar, the Maldives, South Africa, Cuba, Ukraine, and the United Kingdom were also evacuated.

From 08:00 on February 28 to 14:00 on March 4, a total of 1,222 people have been evacuated from Iran to Azerbaijan, APA reports.

243 of those evacuated are citizens of Azerbaijan.

In addition, foreign citizens evacuated include 395 from China, 246 from Russia, 101 from Tajikistan, 80 from Pakistan, 46 from Oman, 18 from Saudi Arabia, 9 from Georgia, 7 from Belarus, 6 from the United Arab Emirates, 6 from Slovakia, 5 from Serbia, 4 from Iran, 4 from Jordan, 4 from Switzerland, 4 from Nigeria, 4 from Japan, 3 from Qatar, 3 from Bangladesh, 3 from Uzbekistan, 3 from Mexico, 3 from Philippines, and 3 from France.

Additionally, 2 citizens each from Nepal, Kazakhstan, Türkiye, Yemen, Kyrgyzstan, and Italy were evacuated.

224 of those evacuated are Azerbaijani citizens.
