The Chairman of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, Taleh Kazimov, has announced the main consequences of the current geopolitical situation for Azerbaijan during his speech at the "AlUla Conference for Emerging Market Economies" conference held in Riyadh, APA-Economics reports.
"If you ask me, in short, what are the consequences of this geopolitical situation? What we see is that inflation has increased and we are faced with uncertainty about tensions. Changes in financial infrastructure are related to the use of digital currencies and the rise of their platforms," the CBA Chairman said.
Taleh Kazimov linked the main consequences of the current geopolitical situation for Azerbaijan to inflation, the transformation of international settlements, the increase in the use of digital assets and national currencies, as well as the importance of compliance with international regulatory requirements.
