Based on the execution for the first 9 months of 2025, 2 billion 567.5 million manat from the state budget has been spent for the reconstruction and restoration of the liberated territories, APA-Economics reports, citing the Ministry of Finance.
It was noted that the majority of the allocated funds were directed to infrastructure projects. In the first nine months of this year, the total expenditures for this purpose amounted to 2 billion 234.8 million manat. Within this framework, 1 billion 525.1 million manat was spent on the design and construction of highways, 461.1 million manat on the construction of new residential complexes, 107.3 million manat on the construction of railway lines, 48 million manat on electrical supply works, 44.3 million manat on water lines and collector facilities, 27.7 million manat on industrial parks and infrastructure, 7.1 million manat on geological exploration works, 6.6 million manat on the construction of the cable car in Shusha, Khankendi, and Lachin, and 7.6 million manat on other necessary works.
291.7 million manat was allocated for social projects focused on education, healthcare, culture, and sports in the liberated territories. Expenses for mine clearance in the territories amounted to 41 million manat.
