Azerbaijani national boxing team consisting of teenagers set a new record, Azerbaijan Boxing Federation told APA.
According to the federation, the national team achieved this success at the II CIS Games held in Belarus.
By obtaining 4 silver and 6 bronze medal, the number of medals has increased by double compared to I CIS Games. The team won 4 silvers and 6 bronzes, which was also another new achievement.
In addition to the number of awards, boxers set a record in terms of medals. The females' team increased 3 medals to 5, and the male's team increased 2 prizes to 5 in the competition held in Orsha city.
