Tashkent hosts exhibition dedicated to Azerbaijan

Within the framework of the official visit of the head of state of Azerbaijan to Uzbekistan, an exhibition dedicated to Azerbaijan’s economy is being held in Tashkent, APA reports.

According to the reports, the economic potential, achievements and products of Azerbaijan in various fields are displayed at the exhibition organized in Tashkent.

Thus, with the support of the Ministry of Economy and the organization of Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Agency - AZPROMO, an exhibition called "The main directions of the economy - a step towards common prosperity" was organized in Uz Expo Center.

Delegations of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan led by Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov and Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan Laziz Kudratov visited the exhibition.

The exhibition displayed indicators of Azerbaijan’s economic achievements, industrial and agricultural products, works done in the field of digital development, possibilities of transport-logistics, energy, tourism sectors, implemented innovative projects, COP29 event and videos on Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan economic relations.

Visitors are also given the opportunity to get familiarized with the process of restoration of Azerbaijan’s liberated territories and projects on the construction of new settlements and infrastructure construction are presented.

Food products produced under the "Made in Azerbaijan" brand, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, canned goods, agricultural and confectionery products, as well as construction materials and other products, are displayed at the exhibition. In the exhibition, a special place is allocated to the field of traditional textiles.

Handicrafts belonging to different carpet weaving schools of Azerbaijan are displayed here, and visitors are informed about the traditional art of carpet weaving.

Coins and gold bars made of gold and silver in Azerbaijan are also displayed here.

The exhibition will go on until August 23.
