Russia has chosen four main directions for its attack on Ukraine: Sumy, Novopavlovsk, Pokrovsk, and Zaporozhye, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said at a joint press conference with European Parliament President Roberta Metsola in Kyiv, APA reports citing UNIAN.

According to Zelenskyy, the operation in Sumy has failed, and Russia has suffered heavy losses. “Russia has abandoned its advance in the Sumy direction and has redirected its forces to another area where it suffered even greater losses,” he said.

Zelenskyy also noted that Russia will continue its attacks on Ukraine’s energy and transport infrastructure.

The Ukrainian leader added that Ukraine has carried out several operations with very successful results.
