If the war in Ukraine had ended by the time of the presidential elections, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that he would not have run for a second term.
"If the war continued - yes, if the war ended - no. I can't run away during the war," Zelenskyy answered the question of whether he would nominate his own candidacy in the upcoming presidential.
