As part of Operation “Crimean Circuit Breaker Off,” the Ukrainian Unmanned Systems Forces struck another 29 energy infrastructure targets on the night of August 12–13, UA News reports.
According to “Madyar,” the targets included, in particular, the Balaklava Thermal Power Plant, as well as power distribution centers in the temporarily occupied territories of the Donetsk, Luhansk, and Zaporizhzhia regions and in Crimea, Robert “Madyar” Brovdi, commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces, said on his Facebook account.
“Occupation Noir: +29 power distribution nodes in the south of the temporarily occupied territories were targeted by the Unmanned Systems Forces’ ‘Bird’ as part of Operation ‘Crimean Circuit Breaker Off,’” Brovdi noted.
According to him, during the operation, which ran from July 1 to August 13, 240 power distribution nodes were successfully targeted. “Cutting off power to stationary radars and other elements of the enemy’s air defense system disrupts their air defense and clears the way for the Freedom-Loving Ukrainian Bird,” Brovdi emphasized.
In particular, the Balaklava Thermal Power Plant in Sevastopol, Autonomous Republic of Crimea, was struck.
The following power substations were struck: the 150-kV “Bilmak” substation in Kamianka, Zaporizhzhia Oblast; the 150 kV “Berdyansk” substation in Berdyansk, Zaporizhzhia Oblast; the 110 kV “GPP” substation in Berdyansk, Zaporizhzhia Oblast; the 110 kV “GPP” substation (repeatedly), Berdyansk, Zaporizhzhia Oblast; the 150 kV “Primorska” substation, Primorsk, Zaporizhzhia Oblast; 150 kV “Chernihivka” Substation, Chernihivka, Zaporizhzhia Oblast; 150 kV “Botievska” Substation, Primorsky Posad, Zaporizhzhia Oblast; 150 kV “Morska” Substation, Berdyansk, Zaporizhzhia Oblast; 150 kV “Berdyanska” Substation (repeated), Berdyansk, Zaporizhzhia Oblast; the 110 kV “Misto-3” substation, Mariupol, Donetsk Oblast; the 110 kV “NS-2” substation, Mariupol, Donetsk Oblast; the 110 kV “Ilyich” substation, Mariupol, Donetsk Oblast; the 110 kV “Volodarska” substation, Mykilsk, Donetsk Oblast; the 110 kV “Fakel” substation, Berdyansk, Zaporizhzhia Oblast; the 110 kV “Lazurna” substation, Berdyansk, Zaporizhzhia Oblast; 110 kV “Misto-6” substation, Mariupol, Donetsk Oblast; 150 kV “Andriivka” substation, Andriivka, Zaporizhzhia Oblast; 150 kV “Andriivka” substation, Andriivka, Zaporizhzhia Oblast; substation, Svatove, Luhansk Oblast; substation, Mykhailivka, Luhansk Oblast; substation, Lozivskyi, Luhansk Oblast; substation, Vinnitske, Donetsk Oblast; substation, Rivnopil, Donetsk Oblast; substation, Berdiansk, Zaporizhzhia Oblast; power substation, Shyrokyne, Donetsk Oblast; power substation, Sokolohirne, Zaporizhzhia Oblast; power substation, Arapivka, Luhansk Oblast.
