More than 45% of Russia's designed oil refining capacity has been knocked out as a result of long-range strikes by the Ukrainian army, stated in a statement published by the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on Facebook, APA reports.
According to the General Staff, more than 45% of Russia's designed oil refining capacity has ceased operations following the strike on the Moscow Oil Refinery.
"One of the consequences of this is a shortage of high-quality fuel in Russia. In particular, a sharp decline has been observed in the production volumes of gasoline and diesel fuel meeting Euro-5/K5 standards," the statement said.
It was noted that the Ukrainian army continues to carry out strikes against Russia's oil refining industry.
