Ukrainian intelligence reportedly struck a Russian Black Sea Fleet vessel near Novorossiysk using a drone, the country’s Main Intelligence Directorate announced the operation, APA reports, citing Ukrainian media.
According to the statement, on September 10, special forces successfully attacked a $60 million vessel in the Black Sea. The targeted ship is a multifunctional MPSV07-class vessel of the Russian Black Sea Fleet.
The MPSV07-class ship is equipped with diving complexes, remotely operated devices, hydroacoustic systems, and electronic warfare equipment, and can be used for seabed exploration. At the time of the attack, the vessel was patrolling the entrance to the Novorossiysk Bay while conducting electronic reconnaissance.
