Ukrainian Justice Minister Denis Malyuska reportedly disclosed plans to present a bill on mobilizing convicts to the Verkhovna Rada as early as next week, APA reports citing TASS.
The proposed bill aims to create separate detachments from mobilized convicts, aligning with the Armed Forces of Ukraine's (AFU) needs, the justice minister clarified. He further explained that the delay in introducing the initiative stemmed from comprehensive consultations with the government, military and deputies, adding that the bill is likely to be adopted before the end of spring.
