The Ukrainian government plans to secure a total of $101 billion in financial support from international partners in 2026 and 2027.
The target is outlined in the government’s action programme submitted to the Verkhovna Rada, APA reported.
According to the document, Ukraine expects to attract approximately $49 billion in 2026 and $52 billion in 2027. The funding is expected to come primarily from the European Union, the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank and other partners.
Ukraine has adopted budgets with record deficits in recent years. Kyiv says the country’s domestic financial resources have been depleted and securing additional funding is becoming increasingly difficult.
