Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski has called on NATO to intensify military exercises near the border with Russia’s Kaliningrad region, European Pravda reported, APA reports.
Speaking at the Yalta European Strategy conference in Kyiv, Sikorski said Warsaw is monitoring the situation in the Kaliningrad region “very closely.”
According to the Polish foreign minister, NATO exercises in the area should be “aggressive” in nature and create uncertainty for the Russian leadership about the Alliance’s possible future actions.
