Russia launches massive missile and drone attack on Ukraine, killing and injuring civilians

The Russian military launched a large-scale overnight attack on several regions of Ukraine using missiles and attack drones.

According to UNIAN, citing the Ukrainian Air Force and local authorities, the strikes targeted multiple areas across the country.

At least six people were killed in the village of Radyushne near Kryvyi Rih in Ukraine's Dnipropetrovsk region, including two young girls and four adults. Eight others, including two children, were injured.

In the western city of Lviv, residential buildings were damaged and six people were reported injured. Fires broke out at the impact sites, and emergency services are continuing rescue operations.

Explosions were also reported in the regions of Ivano-Frankivsk, Ternopil, Volyn, Khmelnytskyi, Zhytomyr, Vinnytsia, and in the direction of Kyiv.

The Ukrainian Air Force confirmed that Russia launched several waves of Kh-101 cruise missiles from Tu-95MS and Tu-160 strategic bombers as part of the overnight assault.
