A powerful explosion and a large-scale fire broke out at the Ryazan oil refinery belonging to the Russian Rosneft company after a drone strike last night, APA reports, citing the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
According to the information, the annual processing capacity of the plant is more than 17 million tons of oil and this enterprise plays an important role in supplying the Russian armed forces with fuel.
In addition, it is reported that "Ukrainian Special Operations Forces destroyed an ammunition depot belonging to the Russian army in the Valuyki district of the Belgorod region."
The latest operations of the Ukrainian army are considered another blow to Russia's military-logistical capabilities. It was noted that such strikes are aimed at weakening the combat capabilities of the opposing side and depleting its resources.
