“The South Caucasus, once considered unstable, is now becoming a more stable and predictable region,” said Speaker of the Georgian Parliament Shalva Papuashvili, at the 152nd Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union in Istanbul, APA’s local bureau reports.
According to him, this is not accidental, but the result of effective sovereignty: “Georgia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan are increasingly acting in line with their national interests. When sovereignty is respected, stability is also strengthened.”
