The Norwegian government has announced that it has supplied Ukraine with a significant amount of missiles for its air defense (HHM) systems, NASAMS, said Norwegian Defense Minister Tore Sandvik during an online meeting with his Ukrainian counterpart Mykhailo Fedorov, APA reports.
It is reported that this step is aimed at continuing the protection of Ukrainian cities from air strikes by the Russian army.
According to the press service of the Norwegian Ministry of Defense, air defense is one of the main priorities of Norwegian military assistance to Ukraine.
The NASAMS HHM systems, which were supplied to Ukraine by a number of countries, including the United States, Canada, Lithuania and Norway, have demonstrated high effectiveness against Russian missiles.
